Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions explain how we run our website and services, including our handmade products and craft classes. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Our Business

Cucumber Cat is a small UK craft business offering handmade accessories, homeware, seasonal items, and craft classes — all made with care and creativity.

Products & Orders

We do our best to show products accurately, but as everything is handmade, slight variations may occur. When you place an order, you’re making an offer to purchase. You’ll receive a confirmation email acknowledging your order — your order is accepted only once we send a dispatch confirmation. We may need to cancel an order if an item is out of stock, a pricing error occurs, or there’s suspected fraud. If that happens after payment, you’ll receive a full refund.

Prices & Payment

All prices are in UK pounds (£) and include VAT if applicable. Payment is due at checkout through the methods available on our website. If a pricing error is discovered, we’ll contact you to confirm the correct price or cancel the order if you prefer.

Shipping & Delivery

Orders are shipped to the address you provide, so please make sure it’s correct. Dispatch times are listed on our website but may vary for bespoke items. Ownership and responsibility for your order pass to you once it’s delivered.

Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

Because our items are handmade, we can only accept returns if an item is faulty or not as described. Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order if there’s a problem. Once production or dispatch has begun, we can’t always accommodate cancellations, but we’ll do our best to help.

Craft Classes

Full details (date, time, location, what’s included) will be provided when you book. A deposit or full payment may be needed to secure your place. Cancellation terms will be explained at the time of booking.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including designs, text, and images — belongs to Cucumber Cat or is used with permission. You’re welcome to view and download it for personal use, but please don’t copy, reproduce, or distribute any part without our written consent. When you buy one of our handmade products, you own the physical item — but not the underlying design or digital rights, unless stated otherwise.

Use of Our Website

Please use our website responsibly and only for lawful purposes. You must not disrupt or harm the website, attempt to access restricted areas, or use the site in breach of laws. If misuse occurs, we may suspend or end access and report serious incidents to the relevant authorities.

Limitation of Liability

We do our best to keep our website accurate and running smoothly, but we can’t guarantee it will always be error-free. Our responsibility for any product sold is limited to its purchase price. We’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version on our website when you place your order will apply. Continuing to use the site after updates means you accept the new version.
